What are we looking for?

For our Build program we look for early-stage startups, that is, based on idea or prototype with concept validation activities, technological base, global potential, of any industry and country with less than one year of development. Join us for a unique learning experience in entrepreneurship for four months.

Each generation will have from 50 to 60 startups, and women will lead at least 50% of them.

Do you know a startup that should be part of Start-Up Chile?

In your application, do not forget!

To apply you will need to submit an application using our online platform. The application includes questions about leadership, the team, and your motivations. In addition, you will need to submit a 90 seconds video and have a referee outline of why you and your team are best suited to tackle your problem.

What do we ask in return

We will ask you to go give back through our Founders Lab

Founders LAB

Criteria to qualify

Over 18

All participants must be over 18 years of age.

Less than 12 months

Founders with just an idea and the right team to execute it are suitable to apply, as well as teams that have already built a basic version of a prototype. We are seeking early-stage projects to support which are still in their first 12 months.

Dedicated 100%

The team leader must be 100% dedicated to the project. This means that he or she cannot be employed in any other company or studying while participating in the program. The entrepreneur must be willing to relocate to Santiago, Chile for the entire 12 weeks program. Take into consideration an additional month to take care of the legal processes involved.

Interest in the Chilean and Latin American market

In its business plan, the startup must have a clear roadmap to affect the Chilean and Latin American market as part of its economic goals.

10% shareholding

The Team Leader must have at least a 10% share in the company and a managerial position (it must be someone with decision-making capacity).
