We’re excited to bring a bit of Chile to California while joining forces with YouNoodle to host a meetup for Bay Area based entrepreneurs! We’ll be explaining how you can use Start-Up Chile to bootstrap your startup in 6 months, using Chile as a platform to go global.
Hosted by Aldo Bucchi, arguably Start-Up Chile’s most active advocate, the meetup will feature general information about the program (which Vivek Wadhwa calls “grand innovation experiment”) that has paved the way for a worldwide innovation revolution. He’ll explain in detail what it’s like to bootstrap from Chile and how global entrepreneurs can become part of the initiative by applying right now, before the August 11th deadline.
Other speakers will be Nico Orellana, one of the founders of Welcu (recently funded by 500 startups), and Felipe Hoffa, a Google software engineer– both Chileans.
We’re looking for the best and brightest entrepreneurs in the world and if you think you’ve got what it takes to garner US$40k of equity-free seed capital for your global startup, don’t miss this opportunity… or this meetup!
See you in California!
Please share this meetup with any of your contacts who will be in the Bay Area and interested in attending!
