The top 20 Start-Up Chile companies from generation 12 are ready for Demo Day

Events, Seed

Start-Up Chile will bring together the top 20 startups from the 12th generation. National and international investors will join this event where the startups will look to raise funds. Also, between August 3rd and 6th, there will be other activities related to entrepreneurship and innovation, led by world leaders in this field.

The best 20 startups of the 12th generation are ready to present their ideas to influential national and international investors to raise funds to grow their businesses while they are in Chile. These startups were selected from among 70 other companies.

Demo Day is one of the most high-pressure moments for founders in Start-Up Chile. The companies will have only five minutes to charm investors with their ideas to get funding.

International judges will decide on the “The Best Startup” of the 12th generation. The winner will get a free American Airlines ticket to go to Silicon Valley to meet more potential investors.

During Start-Up Chile week, other activities (open to the public) will take place, led by international guests. The activities include talks by Jack Smith (founder of Vungle and Shyp), Mary Lou Kelley (President of e-commerce for Best Buy) and Paul Singh (Managing Director at 1776).
