Just like that. A few days ago, we published about Taggify raising US$750.000 from Aurus Capital, a Chilean venture capital fund. Today we heard that Copesa is investing on Taggify, too, and with this the team reached the number that we all love: 1 million dollars, and the 100% of them were raised from Chilean investors. This is an important milestone in their road to build a promising future for their startup, and the Start-Up Chile family is really happy for them.
Taggify is making news at The Next Web, where Gustavo Bessone, co-founder of Taggify, was interviewed. He said that, for Taggify, “the financing round we have raised is 100% Chilean, so it’s not true that there isn’t money for startups in Chile.” He explained that this round “comes as the validation of our business” in front of those who didn´t believe on him at the beginning. Sounds like a familiar story? Read him and get inspired, here.
