Gunnar Weislander, the State Secretary to the Swedish Prime Minister, Fredrik Reinfeldt, will make a visit to the Corfo offices on May 19th to speak with local leaders and entrepreneurs about Chile’s notable advances in the innovation and entrepreneurship fields. As part of the Swedish leader’s and his 35 person delegation’s trip through Brazil and Chile to speak with the Presidents of both nations, he will meet with Corfo and InnovaChile’s directors along with Start-Up Chile entrepreneurs and Swedish entrepreneurs currently living in Chile, including Oskar Hjertonsson, founder of Groupon LatAm.
Mr. Weislander, deemed “the right hand” of the Prime Minister and former International Commercial Secretary and Commander of the Swedish Fleer of Submarines, will give a presentation about Sweden’s innovation and entrepreneurship initiatives, while also generating a dialogue with his Chilean counterparts.
