Suppers impacting the Chilean tech scene: sign up for Santiago Hackathon!

Sponsored by Microsoft and powered by Start-Up Chile, the Santiago Hackathon will take place Saturday and Sunday, April 13-14, 2013 at Universidad San Sebastián Campus Bellavista (Bellavista 7, Santiago), 8th floor, Santiago, Chile.

The Santiago Hackathon will be an opportunity for designers, developers and business developers to build new projects with Chilean and foreign entrepreneurs alike, all in an amazing environment. Microsoft will provide their frameworks and products to help build apps for Windows Phone and Windows 8, including speakers and trainers to give tips and advice, and rewards like X-box and Kinects for the best hacks using Microsoft products. The Hackathon itself will be 24 hours starting on Saturday morning until Sunday noon followed by presentations of each hack and announcements of the winning teams.

The event was organized by Startup Chile entrepreneurs Nathanael Smith and James Turner, co-founders of AdLast, Gael Guillet, co-founder of Scribz and Nicolás Araujo Müller, co-founder of Nubelo. The Santiago Hackathon will not only be a great opportunity to create amazing products and hacks but also a chance to network with entrepreneurs from all around the world. The event will end with a rooftop networking event where all attendees, partners and organizers can enjoy drinks and exchange contacts.
