In an effort to accelerate the search for innovative solutions in the chemistry-sphere, the International Sustainable Chemistry Collaborative Centre (ISC3) launched its first Innovation Challenge to engage, award and promote Sustainable Chemistry innovators from around the world.
The Innovation Challenge 2019 calls for innovations in the field of Sustainable Building and Living. Topics addressed by innovation proposals may include, among others, design of construction elements and materials facilitating reuse and recycling, low cost/tech solutions for affordable housing, resilience engineering and substitution of hazardous compounds.
The Challenge, from now on organized annually with changing focus topics, will provide its five finalists with global visibility as well as in-kind support within the ISC3 Global Start-up Service. The winner will additionally receive a 25,000€ cash prize.
The Innovation Challenge is open for all ideators and entrepreneurs employed by organisations including research institutes, start-ups, small-medium sized enterprises or comparable institutions active in the development and realisation of sustainable chemistry innovations.
