The business accelerator run by the Chilean Government opened a new application process from July 18th to September 5th.
Early stage startups with less than 3 years of existence can apply in the hopes of receiving 30,000 USD in equity free funding for their business.
Startups from all over the globe can submit their applications for the Start-Up Chile Seed program from July 18th until September 5th. Those interested in receiving funding from the Chilean government should enter here and apply according to the Terms & Conditions.
The program is renowned for bringing together entrepreneurs from Chile and around the world. In the past six years, more than 1,400 founding teams have passed through the Start-Up Chile doors and have created a vibrant startup community in Santiago. Selected entrepreneurs will become a part of the community and the immersive acceleration program for 7 months.
The selected startups will receive 20 million Chilean pesos (USD $30,000), as well as an intense weekly schedule to accelerate their ideas. This schedule includes courses, mentoring, and pitch training, among other activities. In addition, foreigners will receive a Working Visa valid for a year to come to Chile. The startups that demonstrate real and consistent progress will have the chance to get an extra grant of 15,000 USD to continue in the program.
In 2016, Start-Up Chile was selected among the Top 4 Accelerators in the world. In order to maintain this positioning, the program continues to look for talented entrepreneurs who can positively impact the local entrepreneurship ecosystem and generate economical impact in Chile.
Start-Up Chile seeks for startups with a global mindset, who want to grow in Latin America and choose Chile as a platform to expand. Acceptance to this program will be based on the experience of the founding team, market potential, competitiveness and the advantages of development in Chile.

A series of Facebook Live Session and Q&As will be held throughout the month of August. These sessions pretend to explain any questions regarding the Application Form as well as to answer the FAQs. Each application will be reviewed by experts in innovation, top tier investors and entrepreneurs. The results will be released on December 1st.
