Start-Up Chile Alumni: Glamping Hub Closes a New Round of Funding

Unique luxury travel portal, Glamping Hub, has closed a new round of funding in 2016.

As of December 23, 2016, Glamping Hub (Start-Up Chile Seed Generation 6) has closed a new round of funding of $2.0 million. This recent round of funding was lead by Alma Mundi Ventures, and attracted investments by Howzat Partners, as well as executives and founders of some of the world’s leading travel portals including, Trivago through Monkfish Equity, and Lastminute Group. The government of Andalucía, the southern autonomous community of Spain, is also a contributor to Glamping Hub’s latest round through its investment vehicle Fondo Jeremie Multiinstrumento.

The focus of this round is to consolidate international expansion and grow in new markets. Since launching its booking platform 2014, Glamping Hub’s revenue, new customers, and inventory, has had a three-figure growth year over year.
