Season 2011, Episode 25: “Innovation for Education”

Hi, I’m João, and I’m here to talk to you about

Think of the tools you use nowadays: email, twitter, wikis, and everything else. You use them on a daily basis and know how they work and how online communication works. Your children will use these tools, but they’re not learning how to use them.

That’s where we come in.

We built a software-as-a-service web platform where children, teachers and families can communicate and work with each other. We created an online bridge between schools and families, where children don’t need constant supervision but are still able to learn by themselves about the web of today, using tools specifically designed for them — email, twitter, wikis, and many more.

Each school, each family has its own private sandbox that allows communication and collaboration only with people you interact in the real world. And that’s how we aim to keep the kids safe how — be leaving them in a fun and familiar environment.

See for yourself at — with at least 5 O’s! Thank you!
