Start-Up Chile (Seed and Huella program) received 61 startups from 22 countries for their new generation of global entrepreneurs. Chile continues to lead the participation with national companies.
Following the trend, 55% of the supported projects have a business model of direct sales to companies (B2B), with the health, financial services and electronic commerce industries being the most represented.

More than 60 businesses will be supported by Start-Up Chile during the next 6 months. The enterprises, which already have more than 60% clients, seek to leverage the local market to grow globally, thanks to the accelerator methodology, which combines academia, mentors, connection with large companies, financing, a collaborative workspace and a 1-year work visa so that it can work in your business in Chile.
It is expected that during the term of the program, it will move on to its next stage of development. For example, if today they are in a stage to have a functional product without users, after 6 months of execution, to have a client that has paid for the product or service and the address and validation of the adoption of the product in the Chilean market.
