Loogares.com arrives to Buenos Aires

Loogares.com, founded by Nicolás Brown, Alberto Marcías and Jordi Casanueva, lands in Buenos Aires seeking to expand their influences and business among Latin America.

Loogares is an online guide that connects people with leisure enterprises based on their past clients recommendations. The web site has approximately 100 thousand monthly visits, over 10 thousand company’s profiles and more than 13 thousand recommendations wrote by the community members, which are named “Loogareños”. The community already operates in Santiago, Valparaíso and Viña del Mar.

Nicolás Brown says they all are “really motivated with Loogares landing in Buenos Aires because of its market size, high commerce concentration and the leisure culture of its citizens. It´s a super interesting city for our business model. We want to use Buenos Aires as a platform to expand among the rest of Latin America.”

Loogares.com, Chilean startup part of Start-Up Chile’s second generation, is now part of NXTP Labs (a member of the TechStars Network) in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
