Our friends at Kraftwerk were featured on BBC News. The article sheds a light on the opportunities the Atacama desert could mean for Chile in terms of solar energy. The writer highlights how “a small solar park in Copiapo Valley seems strangely lost among the orange-red hills and mountains of the Atacama.” Said solar park is operated by Subsole and Kraftwerk. As the article states, “only 4% of Chile’s energy needs are met by non-conventional renewables like solar, wind, geo-thermal, biofuels and wave power.” Is good to hear that Kraftwerk is working so hard to build a new future in this country.
