Its been a busy week at Start-Up Chile, and we definitely have kept the media busy, too.

Start-Up Chile’s Demo Day made noise at La Nación, El Mercurio and Pulso Social, and that was even before the event. As you know, for the very first time we chose a DemoDay winner who gets to travel to the U.S to meet influential investors. Chilean startup Admetricks got the highest evaluation by the judges and you can read about them at EstrategiaPulso SocialEl Mercurio online, and also on their print version.

DemoDay got so huge that it was covered by Teletrece, one of the leading news shows in Chile. Watch Horacio Melo talking about DemoDay while Gigabot, Syrenaica Games and AugMiLabs are covered, too. Watch the piece, here!

AugMeLabs also raised some eyebrows during DemoDay: their Tricoder Glove got featured by Chilean media La Cuarta, and so did the event as a whole.

El Mercurio got interested in startups that get acquired by bigger players. They interviewed Start-Up Chile’s Executive Director Horacio Melo, and alumni Anne Sophie Dutat (Nina’s box, now Fancybox). They also mentioned Cruisewise and their story with Tripadvisor. Read about it, here.
