Club Point Launches Luxury Ecommerce Operations in Chile

Club Point, an ecommerce-based startup selected to participate in Start-Up Chile, announced today that it has officially launched it’s operations in Chile as part of the program. They’re focusing mainly on acquiring members who, in one month’s time, will be provided full access to the campaigns of the world’s best and most exclusive brands. Santiago Pampuro, the startup’s founder and CEO says, “we are very excited about our first step of several launchings in South American countries in the upcoming months” as, in August, Club Point will seek a financing round to thus enter into other LATAM markets while developing new business units.

Having originated in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Club Point’s founders are analyzing the decision to locate their Headquarters in Santiago explains Pedro Cabrera, co-founder and CTO, adding that they “see Chile as a powerful technological hub from which to build the best IT team that an e-commerce site has ever seen.”

Club Point is an innovative online shopping destination with operations in Argentina and now Chile whose users require a special invitation to gain membership and enjoy the company’s benefits. The startup’s model is based on short-term online sales campaigns lasting from four to nine days, in order to trigger impulse purchases of the world’s most coveted brands, including fashion for women, men  and children, and home décor. Juan Pablo Torras, the third co-founder of Club Point, describes the inspiration behind the startup saying, “we believe that every day is an opportunity to inspire and be inspired.”
