The most outstanding startups from the 4th generation of The S Factory program of Start-Up Chile, exhibited their companies in front of judges and investors on the 19th January.

 

The 10 best startups from The S Factory, a program focused on encouraging female founders of tech startups, showed off their businesses from the 4th generation of the program.

The Pitch Finale is the peak time of the 3 month acceleration program for startups led by women. In it, they must present the evolution of their projects, ideas, business models, etc.

For the occasion, the startups that were featured came from Chile, USA, India and Colombia. In addition, they represented various industries such as health, finance, education, energy and music amongst others.

The judged decided that the best startup of the day was Mouti, the first educational toothbrush for children, including in the world focused on protecting and teaching cleaning habits to children.

For winning first place, Mouti won a prize of 500 thousand Chilean pesos, courtesy of Transbank and 2 renowned bottles of wine from Toro de Piedra de Viña Requingua.

In second place, came Yask: a community of people from around the world who are learning languages and by using their native tongue, they help each other to instantly correct or translate phrases when needed.

In third place was Vanido, a musical education app that sends daily singing lessons to train the voice and hearing.

For the first time, the wine Toro de Piedra was present at the Pitch Finale of The S Factory and Start-Up Chile which together with the sponsors BCI, Microsoft and Transbank joined forces to encourage technological innovation in Chile.
